The problem, in detail
The four sources of dirty electricity.
You can't see, smell or taste it — but it's measurable. Dirty electricity reaches your home from four places at once. The Power Perfect Box addresses all four at the panel.
Delivered with your power
Utility lines pick up noise, harmonic distortion and voltage fluctuation as electricity travels miles from generation to your meter. By the time it reaches your panel, the waveform is no longer the clean 60 Hz sine the grid promises.
Created inside your home
Switching power supplies in TVs, LEDs, computers, EV chargers, variable-speed motors and induction cooktops chop the sine wave to create the DC they need. Each device pushes high-frequency noise back into your wiring.
Your wiring becomes an antenna
Once noise is present, the copper running through your walls broadcasts it. AM/FM radio waves, cellular, Wi-Fi and outdoor RF couple onto the same lines. The result is a 360° EMF/EMR field throughout the living space.
Hidden wiring errors
Two- and three-way switch miswires, shared neutrals, ungrounded outlets and stray voltage on metal plumbing are present in a large share of older homes. Each one is a continuous, low-grade source of dirty electricity.
One device · six functions
Six jobs. One installation. Decades of benefit.
The Power Perfect Box is not six accessories in one shell — it's a single integrated circuit topology engineered so each stage supports the next.
Surge protection
Up to 6,500 A peak · 7,800 J/μs
Multi-stage clamping at the panel intercepts transient over-voltages from utility switching, nearby lightning and large-load cycling before they reach branch circuits.
EMI / RF filtering
Up to 50 dB · 10 kHz – 100 MHz
Differential and common-mode filters built with EPCOS/TDK X- and Y-class capacitors and toroidal chokes attenuate high-frequency noise on both hot and neutral conductors.
EMP shielding
NEMA 4X · sealed enclosure
Saturable-core inductors and gas-discharge tubes give the unit measurable resilience against electromagnetic pulse events on the incoming feed.
Voltage smoothing
120 / 240 V split-phase
Capacitive reactive-power injection rebalances the sine wave under heavy inductive load, reducing the dips and swells that age electronics prematurely.
Harmonic correction
Reduces total harmonic distortion
Targeted phase-correction circuitry attacks the 3rd, 5th and 7th harmonics that switching power supplies and variable-speed motors inject back into the wiring.
Demand optimization
Flattens peak kW spikes
By improving power factor and reducing reactive draw, the device lowers the peak-kW spikes that set monthly demand charges on APS and SRP rate plans.

Inside the box
Industrial-grade components.
Residential install.
Most consumer surge strips use the cheapest passable parts. The Power Perfect Box uses the components specified for industrial and medical-grade power systems — designed to run continuously for the life of the home.
EPCOS / TDK filter capacitors
X-class and Y-class film capacitors rated for continuous AC-line duty. The same parts used in industrial UPS and medical-grade power systems.
Toroidal common-mode chokes
High-permeability ferrite cores that present extreme impedance to noise currents while passing 60 Hz mains current with negligible loss.
Multi-stage TVSS clamps
Coordinated MOV + gas-discharge-tube stages absorb high-energy surges with a sub-nanosecond clamping response.
Phase-correction stage
Reactive injection that targets the dominant harmonics produced by modern switching loads and variable-speed motors.
NEMA 4X enclosure
Indoor or outdoor rated. Sealed against dust and water ingress, with a temperature range of −55 °C to +90 °C and altitude rating up to 16,000 ft.
RoHS lead-free assembly
Compliant with RoHS, UL, FCC and CE marking. Assembled in the United States with traceable components.
Heritage
From the space shuttle to your breaker panel.
The clean-power circuitry at the heart of the Power Perfect Box was originally developed to keep sensitive instrumentation alive aboard the NASA space shuttle program — an environment where dirty electricity simply isn't survivable.
Satic Inc., a Montana engineering firm founded by B.D. Erickson II, spent more than a decade adapting that aerospace-grade filtering and conditioning to the American residential panel. SolaX USA carries that work into Arizona homes — engineered in Missoula, manufactured in the United States, installed in under 90 minutes by licensed local electricians.
The third-generation Super Duty unit you install today is the direct descendant of more than 100,000 production units in the field — refined over twenty years of measurement, lab work and real-world installs.
Tested · listed · approved
Engineering claims, independently verified.
NIST & IEEE protocols
Testing methodology aligned with the relevant ANSI/IEEE C62 surge and IEC 61000 EMC standards.
University partners
Engineering and physics departments at multiple US universities have published independent measurements of the technology.
UL · FCC · CE · RoHS
UL Listed E337361, FCC compliant, CE marked and RoHS lead-free. APS and SRP Approved for residential use.
Comparison
One system. Every piece of the puzzle.
Power factor correction and surge protection have been around for years — and there are respectable products that do each one well. What you won't find is another unit that does it all. Every alternative addresses one piece of the puzzle; the Power Perfect Box is the complete, all-in-one energy management and EMF reduction system.
Step 01 · Basic
Surge strips & plug-in protectors
One outlet, one problem. A single-stage MOV that sacrifices itself on the first major surge — with no filtering, no harmonic correction, and no protection for the rest of the home.
Solves 1 of 6 power-quality problems
Step 02 · Single-function systems
Dedicated correctors & filters
Panel-mounted surge arrestors, standalone power-factor correctors, and dirty-electricity filters each do their one job well. But stacking them means multiple purchases, multiple installs — and still no unified protection.
Each solves 1–2 of 6 power-quality problems
Step 03 · Complete system
Power Perfect Box
One panel-mounted unit that corrects power factor, filters dirty electricity, reduces harmonics, protects against surges, and improves efficiency across every circuit — layers of protection rarely offered together, in a single system.
Solves all 6 — more effective, and a greater value
